Bass Gear Mag

Posted by Benjamin on August 20, 2008 Filed under: News tagged: bass, bassguitar, bassmagazine, magazine

Ooo… Looks interesting: Bass Gear Magazine. It is free on-line – after your register, a link and password gets sent to your inbox. You can read it in your trusty old web browser. It’s worth getting a big monitor for :) . There is a paid-for print version available for people who need to do the dead-tree thing.

This month’s edition has a ‘big show’ report which includes NAMM 08, Musikmesse and others. There’s a review of the Fender Tele Bass – which a definite love it or hate it instrument – I’m in the ‘meh!’ camp. Yuck. There is also a nice editorial from Tom Bowlus, editor-in-chief. It is generally 116 pages of bass goodness, including bench-tests and a range of other articles. Nice one Tom!

    Thanks for the props!

FWIW, in addition to the free online version, and the paid print version, we will be offering a downloadable pdf for a nominal fee. :^)

    Tom.

Excellent news for off-line tree lovers :) – it’s nice to be able to read when off-line, without carrying paper around. Thanks Tom!
