Music Messe 2009 – Frankfurt

Posted by Benjamin on April 5, 2009 Filed under: bassguitar, Events, News tagged: frankfurt, musicmesse, TC Eletronic

A week on the road, with almost no Internet access – Ah, how do we survive these things? Oh, I know… With bass goodness… A few highlights from musicmesse:

TC Electronic added the RS410 to their range of cabinets (the RS212 and RS210) for the RebelHead450, announced back at the NAMM show. As you can probably guess from the name, it is a 4×10 cab, it has a tweeter too, and is good for 600 Watts at 8 Ohms. Here’s a video from the TC Electronic stand:

Ritter Basses were on show. Such a beautiful collection. They hope to complete the Ritter history / owners album in a few weeks. It will be a complete listing of all the Basses they’ve ever made. If you are a Ritter Owner and want to be in, please email them your serial number and your name (details on the Ritter Basses site).

Rotosound had Billy Sheehan on their stand (more about that shortly). They also have a new look homepage, which should make it a bit easier to find your nearest stockist.

Roland were around too, but nothing new for bass [sniff]. I’ll scour around for anything else that was noteworthy that I might have missed.
