Enjoy Bass

Posted by Benjamin on November 5, 2008 Filed under: bassguitar tagged: practice

After watching the (US) elections last night, today was a little sleep deprived, but I was in the mood for getting things done. A big clear out of the office and the studio. And then, do you know what?

I picked up an old bass. And played. And played. And played. Not struggling to learn something, no technical exercises. I just played. And enjoyed the playing.

Sometimes, in all the business and striving, it’s good to stop… and just enjoy. That’s why we play bass. Isn’t it?
